Loop-de-Loop Parade kicks off the Loop in Motion Arts Festival in
the University City Loop on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 11:00 a.m.
Loop in Motion is an annual arts event produced through the University
City Loop Community Foundation.
Parade Chair, Shari LeKane-Yentumi, Director of University City
East, a Community Organization dedicated to creating a healthy
community, is assisted by the Greek Council at Washington University
in St. Louis. Parade Commandos are volunteers from Washington
University in St. Louis - GREEKS IN MOTION! Technology is courtesy
of Nextel.
Itinerary:
Lineup in Loop North Parking Lot: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October
1, 2005.
Parade step-off: 11:00 a.m.
Parade Route: Loop North Parking Lot exit onto Kingsland, south
to Delmar,
East on Delmar to Rosedale,
North on Rosedale, past Metrolink,
to Washington University Transportation Parking Lot,
Come to the Youth Tables manned by Washington University Greeks
in Motion! Special Arts and activities for children! Snow Cones!
Pop Corn! Treats! Proceeds benefit the University City East Summer
Youth Leadership Development Programs in the North Loop and Parkview
Gardens Neighborhoods.
