Huiling Chen, a board member who chairs Student Award Committee administered the St. Louis Chinese Language School's annual Student Achievement Award test. The purpose of this award is to encourage students to learn and practice Chinese in their daily lives.
This year's test questions were the same to all participants. They consist of the following parts:· Listen to an audio tape and then answer questions (10 minutes).· Read short stories and then answer questions (20 minutes).· Write an essay in Chinese (20 minutes).Also, there is a tentative presentation competition, if there are enough participants.Award winners will be announced at the Closing Ceremony.
