Spend two days immersed in Chinese or Japanese language and culture with University of Missouri-St. Louis faculty. These unique language-immersion experiences will include a variety of activities, such as watching and discussing a film, cooking an ethnic dish, and playing games. They will take place 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. March 13 and 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. March 14 in Bellerive Hall on the UMSL South Campus, One University Blvd.
Anyone interested in increasing their confidence using Chinese or Japanese may participate; however, participants must have a certain level of proficiency with the language. Current college students must meet prerequisites; other participants will need the instructor’s consent.

A-B Foundation pledges $2.5 M to UMSL
The University of Missouri-St. Louis says the Anheuser-Busch Foundation has pledged $2.5 million over the next five years for new construction at its College of Business Administration.
The university calls it the largest gift in the college's 42-year history.
The university is in the early stages of planning and fundraising for a new building to house the business school's classrooms, research, technology and meeting facilities under one roof.
The estimated total cost is $30 million. The university says it hopes to break ground in two to three years.
Anheuser-Busch and its foundation have funded a number of university projects, including the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center in 2000.
