Travel? St. Louis Ranks High on List for Best Travel Cities

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) - St. Louis scores high marks in a new survey of best and worst cities for summer travel.
CardHub.com analyzed America's 30 largest cities to find out which departure points offer the best combination of inexpensive flights and short travel times to the most popular destinations.
St. Louis ranked 10th best to depart from if you are headed overseas and 11th best for domestic flights. Taking all that into consideration -- St. Louis finished 7th best overall for cheapest fares, fastest travel time and least hassle getting to your destination.
"If you are someone who is traveling a lot then living in St. Louis whether it is for domestic or international travel has nothing to complain because both in terms of convenience and affordability you have a pretty good deal." said CardHub.com's Odysseas Papadimitriou.
He said he was surprised St. Louis did so well because most of the top ten cities are based on the East Coast.
