St. Louis United Way appoints new president

Orvin Kimbrough was named the president and CEO of the United Way of Greater St. Louis.
        The board of United Way of Greater St. Louis selected Orvin Kimbrough as president and chief executive officer.

        Kimbrough, a St. Louis resident, has been serving as senior vice president of major gifts and executive vice president for the United Way of Greater St. Louis since 2007. He succeeds Gary Dollar, who is retiring after almost 29 years with the organization, including 12 years as president and CEO.

        Kimbrough serves as chairman for the Board of Trustees of Missouri State University and is on the Board and finance chairman of RX Outreach, a national not-for-profit located in St. Louis. He also has served as an adjunct instructor at the Brown School of Social Work for Washington University.
