Health Protection and Education Services (HPES) holds monthly health screenings every third Saturday of the month at the University City Library, located at 6701 Delmar. Interpreters are available at each screening in several languages, including Mandarin. Registration begins at 9:00 – 10:30am.
HPES understands that it is important that every person living in the U.S. be counted for the purposes of the 2020 Census. Responding to the census is part of our civic duty. You do not have to be a U.S. citizen to respond. The census will be available online and by phone in Chinese. The U.S. Census Bureau will keep your information private. They are not allowed to share your information with anyone, including other government agencies.
When we all respond, Medicare Part B is fully funded so our seniors can get the care they need. When we all respond, Medicaid long-term care services can help more seniors stay in their homes and live with dignity as they age.
HPES is conducting a Lunch & Learn regarding the 2020 Census on Saturday February 15 at 12noon so you can find out more. We will serve a catered luncheon and provide a $10 gift card to Schnucks to each attendee.
If you have not attended a health screening, please join us on Saturday February 15 at 9:00am.
If you have not attended a previous Census 2020 event, please register at firstname.lastname@example.org. You must register online only by Monday February 3. No phone calls. Please leave your name, address, apartment # and phone number. Thank you.
