Halloween Spooktacular on Ice
For a fun “spin” on the usual trick-or-treating, join the St. Peters Rec-Plex for the annual Halloween Spooktacular on Ice Friday, Oct. 30, from 7 to 9 p.m. This costume party includes candy, games and, of course, ice skating! Details

It’s the Great Pumpkin at Bass Pro Shop
Join the Peanuts gang at Bass Pro Shop in St. Charles for free Halloween activities. Enjoy crafts, photos, a Halloween scavenger hunt and more. Halloween night, costumed children can join in a parade and trick-or-treat from 6 to 8 p.m. Details

Trunk or Treat
Visit the Creve Coeur Police Department from 4 to 7 p.m. on Halloween for candy, food, games and a costume contest inside the multi-purpose room. Details

Head for the mall
Parents can window shop while kids skip shop to shop for Halloween treats. Trick-or-treating is available at CBL malls from 5 to 6 p.m. including Chesterfield Mall, Mid Rivers Mall, South County Center, West County Center and St. Clair Square. Details

Trick or Treat at IKEA
If you haven’t checked out the new IKEA yet, here’s your chance! Bring your little boo by from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Halloween for trick-or-treating; children under 12 in costume will also be treated to a free kids’ meal in the IKEA restaurant. Details

Halloween Party at Great Skate
Show off your footwork and let the good times roll when you step onto the rink for a party. Enjoy a costume contest, skating, candy and more at Great Skate Friday, Oct. 30. Details

Not-So-Haunted House
Children can celebrate Halloween with their favorite storybook characters at this fun, candy-free event, which is presented by St. Louis Children’s Hospital. The event is free with museum admission. Details

Magical Masquerade Bash
Kids can wear their costumes and dine with their favorite superheroes and princesses at Once Upon A Bash from 10 a.m. to noon on Halloween. Registration is $20 for adults and $15 for children. Details
