【時報訊】2008年美國總統大選，民主黨總統候選人Barack Obama聖路易中郡(Mid County)競選總部,日前正式進駐大學城Olive大道與Mcknight路口西南之大型購物商場內，地址1179 McKnight Rd., St. Louis, MO 63132。8月6日(周三)下午五時至七時,舉行競選總部成立大會。聖路易郡郡長Charlie Dooley，密州州議員Maria Chappelle-Nadala，聖路易郡郡議員Hazel Erby及百餘位支持者熱情湧入競選總部表達支持，以「年輕求變」為選舉號召的Obama，在競選總部的工作人員亦多為年輕有活力的朋友，他們向激動的群眾報告Obama之競選理念及美國求新求變的訴求，獲得熱烈掌聲不斷。
Obama競選總部外之大停車場，架設有二個帳篷攤位，展示各種競選文宣及競選品義賣，有各式印有Obama相片之T恤、帽子及各種飾品等吸引許多路人及支持者圍觀購買，場內則有大批人士登記為志願者，為競選總部擔任義工幫忙，現場氣氛熱烈。
Obama聖路易中郡競選總部開放時間為：周一至周五：上午9時至晚間8時
周六：上午10時至晚間8時
周日：下午1時至晚間8時
