The free 'Movies in the Parks' series will continue on July 11 with a
screening of the movie "Akeelah & the Bee" at Lewis Park. The movie will begin at approximately 8 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
The final film of the series will be screened on October 13 at Heman Park, and the movie title will be determined by a
"Viewer's Choice" vote among residents. Surveys for the "Viewer's Choice? movie will be available at all movie screenings or online at
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/66VW2G8 .
The remaining list of films to be featured in the 2012 'Movies in the Parks' series include:
* "Bend it Like Beckham" (August 8) at Flynn Park * "To Kill A
Mockingbird" (September 15) at Fogerty Park
* Halloween-themed Viewer's Choice: "Spirited Away" or "Stand By Me" or "Goonies" (October 13) at Heman Park
