Pharma Medica Research Inc. plans to invest $30.8 million and create 320 jobs at its first facility in St. Charles.
The Toronto-based company conducts research and development for pharmaceutical companies as well as perform trials. Pharma Medica Research plans to rehabilitate a building in St. Charles that previously housed a clinical research organization, according to Gov. Jay Nixon's office.
The company has been offered economic incentives from the state that it can receive if it meets job creation and investment criteria.
